Children’s Film Festival Seattle, which postponed its screenings amid the rise of the coronavirus pandemic in March, will return in online form in May, with seven compilations of shorts from around the world available on a pay-what-you-can basis, plus a feel-good Kenyan feature film “Supa Modo” available on demand for $10.
The online version of the festival runs from Wednesday, May 13, through Sunday, May 17. Here is the schedule.
"In this time, we want to reach out with high-quality content that has special meaning and can provide hope to kids and families," said festival director Elizabeth Shepherd in a press release.
"What better way to see the world than through the lens of international films that invite kids to use their imaginations and dream of ways to make the world a better place?"
Ther also are "bonus" activities relating to the films: coloring pages, discussion guides and links to filmmaking resources.
