Imagine Children’s Museum is the kind of place where kids can climb, build, pretend, explore, and learn without even realizing they are learning at all! Located in downtown Everett, conveniently just off I-5 at exit 192, the Museum offers 68,000 square feet and three floors of hands-on exhibits and experiences designed for children ages 0 to 12 and the grown-ups who love watching them discover.
As the largest children’s museum in the Pacific Northwest, Imagine gives families room to spend the day moving, wondering, creating, and playing together. Children and their families can explore exhibits inspired by the people and places of the Puget Sound region, including an airplane, tugboat, rooftop play space, water play, creative arts areas, STEM learning, and spaces built for imaginative play. With thoughtful updates and fresh experiences woven throughout the Museum, every visit gives children opportunities to move their bodies, ask questions, follow their curiosity, and create their own adventure.

Imagine is built for movers, shakers, builders, wonderers, and doers – where big energy turns into discovery, where pretend play becomes problem-solving, and where one small “what if?” can spark a lifelong love of learning. Here, kids are invited to test ideas (and try, try again!), work together, make a joyful mess, tell stories, and experience the delight of figuring something out for themselves.
Imagine is also the kind of place children ask to visit again and again! Parents and caregivers love that the Museum is welcoming, thoughtfully designed, and full of ways for kids to burn energy in a fun, engaging, wonder-filled environment. Children can stay busy for hours while grown-ups enjoy watching and interacting as they become pilots, builders, artists, scientists, chefs, captains, and storytellers – all in one place where imagination takes the lead.

When it’s time for a snack or lunch break, Divy’s Grab & Go on the third floor offers hot food, snacks, drinks, and coffee, with tables available for families bringing their own food. Families are also invited to stop by the Museum Store for toys, books, games, gifts, and Imagine keepsakes. No admission is required to shop, and every purchase supports Imagine’s mission to enrich children’s lives through playful learning.

Memberships make it easy to visit all year long, and birthday party options give families a fun, energetic way to celebrate.
Imagine Children’s Museum was recently named Silver Winner in Seattle’s Child Family Favorites for Local Family-Friendly Museum and is a multiple-time recipient of the Daily Herald Best of, taking first place in Family Entertainment.
In addition to daily play, Imagine hosts special events, summer camps, free STEM learning partnerships with local libraries, school programs, sensory-friendly resources and dedicated time, family-friendly amenities, and Free Community Access Night on the third Thursday of each month from 3 to 7 p.m.
Whether your child loves building, splashing, pretending, climbing, creating, or simply experiencing something new, Imagine Children’s Museum is a beloved space where curiosity runs wild, laughter lingers a little longer, and families make unforgettable memories together.
