Mount Baker Preschool is a play-based Waldorf preschool focused on nature and rhythms. The children go outside on walks every day, rain or shine. MBPS is based on the view that we need to address body, soul, mind, and spirit in all of our teachings. We provide preschoolers with a warm, beautiful, loving, home-like environment, which is protective and secure, where the day unfolds in a predictable, regular way. This holistic educational experience addresses their intellectual capacities, stimulates their innate curiosity, and engages them through direct hands-on experience. The children are given a range of activities and the structure they need to prepare for the next phase of school life.
