Logical. Imaginative. Intense.
Verbal. Observant. Hands-on.
At Seattle Country Day School, we know gifted children can be intense, verbal, and imaginative. They have different interests, from reading, to coding, to tinkering. And we know that gifted children come from every community.Â
At SCDS, your child will find a welcoming classroom, one based around guided inquiry: a method where teachers encourage students to explore, experiment, and create. In addition, our program includes a curriculum called Synapse, which focuses on belonging, inclusion, and understanding the self.
These offerings bring out the best in all our students, stoke their passion for learning, and help them develop critical-thinking skills that last a lifetime.Â
