Hot Ice

It sounds like an oxymoron, but the ice you make in this experiment is hot! Just combine 4 cups of vinegar with 4 Tbl of baking soda and cook over medium heat for an hour to reduce the mixture to 1 cup or less. Pour mixture in a glass container and refrigerate for 30-45 minutes. Scrape crystals that form on the pan onto a plastic tray then slowly pour the solution over them and watch a tower of hot ice form.
