Description
The Delridge Farmers Market will kick off its fourth season on May 18th and will run every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through the end of October. It is one of the only BIPOC-priority markets in town, rooted in providing culturally relevant food and goods to communities across Southwest Seattle.
At each market, they:
- Distribute 50+ local, organic produce bags, offered free of charge with no questions asked
- Give $5 youth bucks to all kids, each week, to practice healthy shopping habits
- Offer unlimited SNAP-EBT matching, Fresh Bucks, and FMNP programs
- Provide free diapers, hygiene, personal care, and home cleaning products, and other basic needs
- Host a wide range of community organizations offering complimentary resources, programs, and activities centered in holistic health and wellness
- Highlight a wide range of rare, hard-to-find food and goods from cultures across the globe
- Take no fees or cut of sales from their vendors, so vendors always keep 100% of their revenues
Every week is different at the Delridge Farmers Market, as each Saturday is shaped by the unique diversity of seasonal, culturally relevant produce, along with fan-favorite artisan and body products, and specialty prepared foods.
Bring your kids, families, and friends to celebrate the season's harvests.
