Description
Holi “the festival of colors” at Phinney Neighborhood Center, celebrates spring, connection, and the triumph of good over evil. Come together to celebrate this traditional Indian festival with music, dancing, food, and color! Folks from all religions, cultures, backgrounds, and ages are invited to participate in this day of celebration.
What to wear - Wear something comfortable and bring layers for cold. Wear something that you are willing to ruin, the colors are messy and may stain!
Event Features Include:
- Powder throwing area ($7-15, under age 2 free. Advance tickets required.)
- Spice Walla restaurant will be serving its Kathi Rolls (Indian wraps filled with protein, cilantro chutney and onions, wrapped in a thin grilled roti)
- Dance to a blend of Bollywood, Bhangra, & EDM by DJ KP
- Jaipur Avenue Chai for sale
- At 2PM Afsaana Dance will showcase their unique style of Hindi Film Dance (Bollywood!)
- Children’s arts & crafts with Hindi Time Kids ($10-30)
