Lunar New Year Edmonds

You are invited to the fourth annual Lunar New Year Edmonds (LNYE) event on Saturday, February 1. Hosted by Multicultural Association of Edmonds, this free community event will take place at Edmonds Center for the Arts, and has been designed to uplift the creativity, traditions, and expansiveness of the local Asian American community.

Festivities at ECA begin at 11 a.m. with Mak Fai Lion Dance, followed by demonstrations by Northwest Wushu Academy, and finishing with a breakdance performance from the Seattle-based hip hop crew, Massive Monkees.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can walk down the road to Civic Field (598 Edmonds St, Edmonds) for the Lunar New Year Market featuring gaming lessons from the Seattle Go Center, and food vendors. The day will also feature community-driven art installations, market, trolley tour, and a red envelope walk featuring local businesses.
