Description

Ring in the Year of the Rabbit with SAM's annual Lunar New Year Family celebration at the Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park. Enjoy a live Lion Dance, drop-in art activities, and a story time inspired by the holiday. Here's what you can expect at our celebration:

11 am – 2 pm Participate in a Year of the Rabbit community mural with artist Juliana Kang Robinson.

11:30 am Mak Fai Kung Fu & Lion Dance Association will take the stage to perform a live Lion Dance.

12:30 pm Listen in on a Lunar New Year story and make art with artist and author Julie Kim. The storytime is ideal for families with children ages 2–5.
