Description
Come to the Halloween Pet Parade in Volunteer Park! Bring your pet in costume and join the parade. No need to register for the parade - register for the Costume Competition at the Stage Area. Participation in the parade and costume competition is FREE.
From dogs dressed as dinosaurs and vampires to cats bravely rocking hot dog buns, the Halloween Pet Parade is a sight to behold. Expect to see everything from donut costumes to full-on movie character transformations.
This year’s parade will have categories like “Spookiest Pet” and “Most Creative Costume” bringing out the competitive side of the city’s pet lovers.
Food trucks, vendors, costume contest and live music!

11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

11:00 AM — Gather at the stage on the Dahlia Lawn for the Pet Parade!
11:00 AM to 12:30 PM — Register Your Pet for the Costume Competition at the Dahlia Lawn
12:30 PM to 1:30 PM — Costume Competition on the Stage
• Each winner receives a pet-related gift basket!
• Prizes offered in 4 categories:
○ Best Pet/Owner Combo
○ Most Creative
○ Spookiest Pet
○ Best Personality
1:45 PM — Costume Competition winners (and raffle winners) announced
The Route: The parade will start at the stage located on the lawn in front of the conservatory, down the concourse around the water tower and back to the stage.
