Half-Off Admission at Woodland Park Zoo During Field Conservation Week

Half-off admission will be offered to Woodland Park Zoo visitors wearing green on Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6. This discount is in honor of the Zoos and Aquariums Committing to Conservation conference, which is being hosted by the zoo.

Special keeper talks, discovery stations and the zoo's 1,000 animal ambassadors will introduce visitors to the critical field conservation projects that Woodland Park Zoo supports around the globe. Visitors will also learn what they can do in their daily lives to share the planet with wild animals in their backyards and around the world. Visit the Woodland Park Zoo web site for a list of scheduled talks.

The Zoos and Aquariums Committing to Conservation conference will be held at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel and marks the first time Woodland Park Zoo plays host. The conference brings together over 200 experts from different countries and disciplines. To learn more about Woodland Park Zoo's conservation programs, visit www.zoo.org/conservation.
