Although this is a landmark moment for the right of queer couples to marry, there's still immense work to be done for queer and trans folks, both in our community and everywhere. Queer and trans folks, particular queer and trans youth of color, still face immensely disproportionate violence, homelessness, and mental health struggles. Here's a number of resources to check out, both Seattle-based and national, to show your continued support for queer and trans folks.

Donate to organizations that support and serve queer and trans youth
The Northwest Network offers a number of free programs for queer and trans youth like individual counseling, support groups, and workshops to end dating violence.
The City of Seattle also offers a number of services for homeless and at-risk queer and trans youth.
Lifelong AIDS Alliance's HEYO youth program is an outreach program focused on the health needs of queer and trans youth, and organizes bi-monthly youth community forums, hosts sexual health workshops, and distributes hygiene supplies and other basic needs to homeless youth.
Black Girl Dangerous runs a weeklong free summer camp for queer and trans youth of color based in Oakland, CA. You can donate to their camp here.
The Audre Lorde Project, a New York-based community organizing center focused on serving queer, trans, and gendernonconforming people of color. Donate to their project here.
