As the holiday season approaches, you can get your kiddos involved in the most fun part of the season: fantastic food! These local culinary hubs offer holiday classes for kids where they can hone their baking or cooking skills – and get the chance to take home their creations. Sign up as soon as you can, as classes tend to fill up very quickly!
Boehm’s Candies chocolate-making classes
Eastside gem Boehm’s Candies offers family chocolate-making classes twice weekly. Kids and parents will get the chance to tour the Boehm’s factory before they sit down to make multiple chocolate creations. Kids 8 and up are welcome to participate; preregistration is required.
Sundays at 2 pm and Thursdays at 4 pm, $55 per participant.

Paris Eastside French cooking classes

Seattle’s community centers offer a host of stellar cooking classes for kids and teens where they’ll learn how to cook fancy desserts, pies and tarts, and more.

Sur La Table holiday cooking classes
Kirkland’s Sur La Table outpost offers two awesome three-day holiday cooking classes series, one for kids 8-12 and another for teens 13-17.
Kids 8-12: Dec. 21 to 23, 10 am to 12 pm, $150.
