The Washington State Board of Education is working on a strategic plan for the state's public schools for 2019-2022, and it wants your input as parents and taxpayers.
However, you don't have much time.
The online Strategic Plan survey can be found here, but only until Monday.
It features four "fill in the box" questions, such as "Please describe your hopes and aspirations for students in Washington's public schools," and "what barriers do students face in achieving these aspirations?"
The survey continues with a number of statements to be ranked on a sliding scale from "extremely important" to "not important" and then offers a blank for other comments, suggestions or ideas.
The whole thing probably could be done in five minutes or less, depending on how eloquent you are feeling about the fill-in questions.
State officials will use the results to help identify goals and objectives for the next four-year period. You want a say in that, right?
