From art to crafts to technology, kids can explore maker culture’s endless possibilities at the Museum of History & Industry. Event included with admission; free ages 14 and younger with an adult. When she seeks refuge in the dread Wizard Howl’s castle, she finds unlikely allies, who help Sophie realize that she has the power to decide her own fate. Book-It’s smash-hit musical, adapted from the novel by celebrated fantasist Diana Wynne Jones, is back and more magical than ever. Great for kids ages 10 and older. $20 tickets available to students with valid school ID. Show runs thru Dec 29.
Juanita Bay Wildlife Tour

Juanita Bay Park, Kirkland. FREE
Songbirds, waterfowl, raptors, shorebirds, amphibians, turtles, beavers, and other small mammals make Juanita Bay Park their home. Join an Eastside Audubon volunteer Park Ranger and explore the park and learn about these wonderful creatures. Tours start in the parking lot at 1 p.m., rain or shine, and take about one hour. BYO binoculars if you have them. Children ages 6 and older, accompanied by an adult, are welcome.
