The Program for Early Parent Support (PEPS) is holding its 13th annual benefit luncheon on Wednesday, March 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion. The luncheon will be hosted by KING 5 News Anchor Mimi Jung and features keynote speaker Dr. John Medina, Seattle’s renowned developmental molecular biologist and New York Times bestselling author.
Dr. Medina will discuss topics from his book “Brain Rules for Baby ā How to Raise a Smart and Happy Child from Zero to Five.” The event will also include a social hour, entertainment from folk singer Moorea Malatt and a seated lunch program.
The luncheon is free, but guests will be asked during the program to make a generous donation to help PEPS support new parents and families. The registration deadline for this event is Monday, Feb. 21. To learn more, and to register, visit the PEPS web site.
