BAM Kids Fair to Go

Bellevue Arts Museum
Head to Bellevue Arts Museum and pick up one of their fantastic (and free) art kits in place of their usual Kids Fair festivities this year. There are three different art kits, from which to choose, which include materials and instructions for craft activities inspired by the current museum exhibitions. Plus each kit includes resources that grownups can use to talk with their kids about art.
Bach Yard Playdates

Internationally acclaimed pianist Orli Shaham is bringing her interactive classical concert series for children to your home this weekend from her ‘Bach’ yard. One of 10 new episodes will be posted every Sunday at 8 am on Kaufman Music Center’s website and social channels, to introduce musical concepts, instruments and the experience of concert going to children.
Hazel Miller Plaza Sunday Concerts

Join children’s singer and songwriter, Eric Ode, this weekend for one of the Hazel Miller Plaza Sunday Concerts. Available on the Edmonds cable television station (Comcast channel 21 or Ziply channel 39), Eric will have your family up, dancing, and singing along in no time! Concerts will also be available on-demand at a future date on the City’s YouTube Channel (www.youtube.com…). Bread in a Bag
Kids will love this recipe because it doesn’t have to rise for hours. Parents will love this recipe because your home will smell delicious. In a gallon Ziploc bag combine flour, sugar, active dry yeast, and warm water. Let rest 10 minutes then add remaining flour, olive oil, and salt. Knead, place in two loaf pans, let rise for 30 minutes, and bake. Easy-peasy!
