The League of Education Voters is having a free webinar, in which Washington Teachers of the Year winners give advice on how parents can prepare their kids for the start of school in Fall 2020. Public schools are beginning the year with all students learning remotely.

Mandy Manning
2018 winner, and winner of the 2018 National Teacher of the Year
Manning teaches English language learners and new immigrants at Ferris High School in Spokane. When President Donald Trump gave her the trophy for National Teacher of the Year, she handed him letters from her immigrant and refugee students.
Nate Bowling
2016 winner, 2016 National Teacher of the Year finalist
Bowling won for his work as a civics, government and geography teacher at Lincoln High School in Tacoma. He is an advocate for increasing education opportunities for Black students and other who face discrimination within the school system. He’s also a vocal critic of the status quo of segregation in public education.
Amy Campbell
2020 winner
A special education teacher at Helen Baller Elementary in Camas, Campbell is committed to whole school inclusion for students with disabilities.
Robert Hand
2019 winner
Hand is a family and consumer services Instructor at Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon. He has a long track record of providing individual attention and support for students.
Camille Jones
2017 winner
Jones works in the STEAM lab at Pioneer Elementary in Quincy. She leads kids in projects and explorations in science, technology, engineering art and math.
