The beginning of October usually means BrickCon, when a capacity crowd of Lego enthusiasts of all ages funnels itself into the Seattle Exhibition hall for a weekend of exploring just how much you can build with plastic bricks.
Obviously, this isn’t an event that can happen this year. But for those who want a dose of Lego inspiration and culture, there’s BrickCon online.
A $5 ticket gives one device access to a weekend of galleries, videos, a Lego marketplace, videos, and a slate of virtual events. The schedule goes from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Among the events on the live stream: robot battles, a tour of the Lego House in Denmark, Q and As with Lego masters, and many ingenious builds.
