The Great Fall Get Together for Teens and Young Adults of All Abilities

This is a two-part recreational opportunity for teens and young adults (14-24) with intellectual and developmental disabilities. All are welcomed to attend and you may attend one session or both. KCLS Online Program: Cook and Chat for Teens (Virtual)

Welcome teen chefs, ages 12-18! Join KCLS for a series of baking and cooking classes with teen volunteers every Saturday through December 19. We’ll be learning to make a bunch of cool recipes throughout the series and this Saturday the recipe is for the classic chocolate chip cookie! Check online for the list of supplies you’ll need.

Get outdoors and get reading with a fun, active StoryWalk! “Tiny, Perfect Things” by M.H. Clark begins by the pool at Cottage Lake Park and loops around the park, ending at the pier. Please wear masks and socially distance along the path especially while reading each page. PopUp StoryWalk promotes literacy, health and art appreciation by installing deconstructed children’s storybooks in outdoor community spaces.

 

Seattle Symphony Family Concert – Fire (Virtual)

This fire-themed family concert showcases artist stories from Seattle and across the globe. Join the Seattle Symphony as they feature spirited selections from their fall broadcasts.
