Museum Day Live! Museums across the country have free admission today, thanks to the Smithsonian and Microsoft. Visitors can grab a free ticket online and exchange for admission to a museum including Museum of Pop Culture (formerly known as EMP), Seattle Art Museum, Museum of Flight and more. Italian Festival Celebrity chef demonstrations, food, music and dance, grape stomp, pizza toss, soccer clinic, Italian dog breeds, marketplace, children’s activities and puppet shows. 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 23-24. Seattle Center (Lower Queen Anne).
Fishermen's Fall Festival Learn about the importance of the fishing industry as well as Fishermen's Terminal to Seattle while raising money for the Seattle Fishermen's Memorial Foundation. Enjoy live music, fresh seafood, fishing education, and hands-on art projects with fishing themes, include the popular wooden boat building and trout pond. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fisherman’s Terminal (Magnolia).
