Spring is officially here! Step outside and get a hit of Vitamin D on Monday and Tuesday—it looks like there will be some sunshine. Pack a lunch and take a stroll through the cherry blossoms at The Quad on the UW campus. Find a playground with a view: Ella Bailey Park (Magnolia), Jefferson Park (Beacon Hill), Kerry Park (Queen Anne), or Seward Park.
When you’re ready to head inside, kids can still burn off energy at one of many toddler gyms around the city complete with a variety of toys and push-cars. Check out story time at a branch of the Seattle Public Library; they vary in theme, age group, and language. Most are followed by hands-on activities and social time. If you find yourself in Queen Anne, visit the Seattle Children’s Museum during the last hour of the day and gain admission for as little or as much as you’d like to donate.
