Egg hunts, Teen Action Fair, Family Trivia, and more this weekend!

North Bend Egg Hunt Sat Mar 24, 9:45 a.m. Si View Park. FREE

Hop on over to North Bend for a spring-tastic egg hunt at Si View Park. Kids in fifth grade and younger can hunt for eggs by age group then stay for warm drinks, yummy treats and photos with the Easter Bunny.

 

Morning Treats and Tweets Guided Bird Walk Sat Mar 24, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Seward Park Audubon Center

Naturalist Ed Dominguez will be leading a casual birding experience for beginning and intermediate birders (8 years and older with an adult).  Hot tea or coffee and doughnuts will kick off the event, then the group will venture into the park to learn about the birds that call the Pacific NW home. BYO binoculars (there will be some provided), wear walking shoes, and dress for the weather.

 

Teen Action Fair Sat Mar 24, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center. FREE

It’s the 4th annual Teen Action Fair this Saturday at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center. It’s a youth-led celebration, which showcases youth leaders and organizations that inspire positive change in Seattle and beyond. Check out hands-on activities, listen to powerful speakers, watch amazing performances, interactive exhibits and learn about ways to get involved.

 

Festival of Colors Sat Mar 24, 12-5 p.m. Marymoor Park

All ages are welcome to take part in the Hindu holiday of Holi this Saturday at Marymoor Park. Revelers will be doused in color at a designated area at a designated time –  color purchase may be made on site. Be dressed for mess! Then stay to enjoy music and vegetarian food. $2 ages 10 and older, free ages 9 and younger. $5 parking per car. 

 

Sincerely Yours Sun Mar 25, 2 p.m. Village Theatre Issaquah

Written by seven KIDSTAGE teens with professional mentorship, Sincerely Yours is a snapshot of a moment in American history. From a young woman in the tumultuous America of 1946, to a mother whose business is slipping out of her control, to a Japanese internment camp survivor, this play reflects on the changes in the world after the conclusion of WWII. $16, $13 youth and seniors. Various times through March 31. 

 

Family Trivia Night Sun Mar 25, 7 p.m. Shelter Lounge

Bring the entire family to Shelter on Sundays and enjoy a fun night of trivia. The theme changes weekly so check the website for updates. $5.
