Have you wondered what lies behind the fence? Come to the Rescue Center Open House. Swing by to take a tour of the facility and ask staff and volunteers questions about rehabilitating marine mammals.
This is a free family-friendly event, and there will be activities for youth as well as a chance to shop the adoption kits, t-shirts and other merchandise in person! Tours take approximately 30 minutes.
Please note that animal viewing will not be part of the tour, but there will still be plenty to see, from their surgical room to the fish kitchen! Pets are not allowed, so please leave your furry family members at home.
The parking lot closest to SR3 is paid parking - card only, $2.50 for the first hour and $1.50 per hour after - and 50% off vouchers will be provided to those who attend the Open House. Limited free street parking is available along 6th and 7th Ave to the east of SR3.

This marine wildlife rescue center, dedicated to help several species of marine animals to be rehabilitated for the first time in the region. The SeaLife Rescue Center opened in spring 2021, just south of Seattle in Des Moines, Washington.
