Beacon Hill Meaningful Movies is bringing the documentary 'Come Hell or High Water,' a film that tackles environmental justice, community and the aftermath of Katrina.

Beacon Hill Meaningful Movies is bringing the documentary Come Hell or High Water: The Battle for Turkey Creeka film that traces the life of Derrick Evans, a Boston teacher who returned to Mississippi after his ancestors' graves were bulldozed. The film tackles issues of race and society, corporate ecological interference, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and issues of environmental protection.

The film is being screened through the Meaningful Movies program and the Beacon Arts program; the program is a monthly documentary screening series that takes place on the third Friday of every month. Films are screened at the Garden House; showings are free and popcorn is provided!
