The Jewish Family Service is hosting a parent workshop on emotion coaching on Monday, Feb. 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jewish Family Service is located at 1601 16th Ave. in Seattle.
Developed by Dr. John Gottman, author of "Raising an Emotionally Intelligent Child," emotion coaching helps parents guide their children through life's ups and downs in a way that builds confidence, resilience and strong relationships. The workshop will be led by parent educator and Certified Gottman Educator, Melissa Benaroya, MSW.
