Description
Chief Seattle Days is an annual event sponsored by the Suquamish Tribe to honor Chief Seattle to celebrate his historical accomplishments. During the gravesite ceremony, they practice their traditions, invite people to tell stories, and remind people of the history of Chief Seattle and the Suquamish people.
The festival will feature a salmon bake, hoop dancers, food, an awards ceremony, and much more! It is drug—and alcohol-free. Chief  Seattle Days will also have tons of activities, including horseshoe, basketball, golf, softball tournaments, a 5k fun run and canoe races. There will also be tribal songs and dances and a royalty pageant.
