Family Saturdays at the Olympic Sculpture Park
Location
Olympic Sculpture Park
2901 Western Ave
Seattle, WA 98121
Description
Family Saturdays are designed for families and caregivers with children ages 2–12. Starting in spring 2025, Family Saturdays will be offered at Olympic Sculpture Park. Have fun while you learn about art at the park and the local environment.
Each Family Saturday has an exciting new theme and a variety of activities that include art making, performances, story time, or movement workshops.
The Olympic Sculpture Park is a world-class museum without a roof, walls — or admission. It’s one of three branches of the Seattle Art Museum, and the only one that’s completely free every day. Follow a zigzag path to visit monumental sculptures across the 9-acre site. Kids love watching the trains clang by and the boats cruising in Elliott Bay. Three blocks north at Seattle Center, you’ll encounter another kind of art. The Artists at Play playground (305 Harrison St.) is art to climb on, play with, jump off.
These are drop-in events but advanced registration is recommended for receiving important program and arrival details the week of the event. Walk-in capacity is limited on a first-come-first-served basis.
Events at the Seattle Art Museum and Olympic Sculpture Park are free. Free with RSVP, Registration is available four weeks in advance.
