Description
If you fancy a return to the "good, old-fashioned" summer fair, take the kids to Snohomish for Kla Ha Ya Days. There are different events happening on different days, so check out the website and make some decisions before you set out. There's the Davis Amusement Carnival (rides, carnival games, skill contests and food trucks), the Grand Parade, the Frogtastic Kids' Fair, the Street Fair (think pie-eating contest), music galore, a car show, a salmon bake and more -- an old-time "something for everyone."
Friday July 18th-kicks off the weekend with the always free Frogtastic Kidās fair, where kids can be kids. (located at Averill field next to the Boys and Girls club from 3 PM to & 7 PM).
After the kids have their fun itās time for their first ever Teen Night! Teens from ages 12 to 18 are welcome to join the fun at the new Teen Center inside the Snohomish Boys and Girls Club. Activities such as video game tournaments, dodgeball in the gym, and ice cream parties are just a few things happening at the Teen center.
Saturdayās festivities start at 10am with the Kla Ha Ya days parade! Donāt forget to come early and enjoy a free pancake breakfast! Presented by Snohomish Chamber of commerce, StoneAge Construction, and Andyās Fish house.
Directly after the parade come to the Carnegie lawn (on the corner of 1st street and Cedar Ave) where you can find their interactive circus performers, eating contests, and other activities. Across the street, youāll find the Snohomish Lionsā beverage garden and main stage. Explore the Makerās market, grab a bite at one of the food trucks and head back to the beverage area to relax and catch some tunes!
For the first time ever, they would like to introduce the Snohomish Kidsā art exhibit inside the Carnegie Building. Art is being curated to be displayed for this weekend only. Artists will be on-site demonstrating their craft.
