Taproot Theatre presents Lauren Gunderson's Louisa May Alcott's Little Women this holiday season. Featuring beloved characters and memorable excerpts directly from the novel, this charming adaptation runs November 18–December 26, 2026, in Taproot's Jewell Mainstage Theatre.

What if the woman who wrote Little Women could step inside it? In this inventive yet faithful adaptation, Louisa May Alcott is part of the March sisters’ charming coming-of-age story. Dreaming of brighter days while their father is away, the girls generously gift their Christmas breakfast to another family and are rewarded by a kind neighbor. Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy each chart their own path through first loves, exciting passions, family hardships, and new beginnings.
