Scarecrow Video and Maple Leaf Community Council are thrilled to announce the return of MOVIES BY THE TOWER, a series of free outdoor film screenings at Maple Leaf Reservoir Park.
Bring your own low-back chairs, pillows, and blankets, and join this event under the stars for three nights of Movies by the Tower.
2025 line up:
August 9 – The Wild Robot (2024) [PG] – A heartwarming, Oscar-nominated animated adventure based on the best-selling book!
August 16 – Metropolis (1927) [unrated] – A reconstruction of the 1960s edit of this silent-era classic with a new soundtrack performed live by somesurprises!
August 23 – Real Steel (2011) [PG-13] – Robots, action and heart in this futuristic boxing drama (adapted from a Twilight Zone episode)!
