Phinneywood Lunar New Year Celebration

Come enjoy the first annual Phinneywood Lunar New Year Celebration! The Phinney Neighborhood Association is collaborating with the Asian community for their annual event celebrating Lunar New Year. Enjoy free arts and crafts, paper lantern decorating ($5), LQ Lion Dancers, a bake sale, food trucks and a marketplace representing local Asian small businesses and makers. Due to popular demand, the Lion Dancers will be performing twice! Once at 2 pm and 3 pm, happening in the Brick Building Community Hall.

In order to make activities happening in both buildings accessible to all, they will be operating a shuttle van between the buildings throughout the event.

After the fun at the Phinney Center, walk up and down Greenwood Ave through the business district with your lanterns! 

Schedule:

• LQ Lion Dance TWO PERFORMANCES at 2 pm & 3 pm (Brick Building, Community Hall)
• Paper lantern decorating at the Phinney Center from 1-4 pm ($5) (Blue Building)
• Free arts and crafts (Blue Building)
• Marketplace from 1-4 pm (Blue Building)
• Bake Sale (Blue Building)
• Food trucks from 1-4 pm (Parking lot)
