Seattle Dragon Boat Festival

Description

Come to the Dragon Boat Festival for an exciting day of racing, cultural performers, and food trucks at South Lake Union Park.

Opening ceremonies start at 8 a.m., followed by the beginning of the racing at 8:30 a.m. and Asian Cultural performances from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For the kids

There will be Seattle Krakens games and UW Athletics games and giveaways for the kids.

• Filipino Community Seattle (Filipino Dance and Cultural Presentation)
• International Lion Dance Team (Chinese Lion Dance)
• Japan Creative Arts / School of Taiko (Japanese Taiko Drum)
• Graceland Manila (Filipino Elvis Impersonator & Band
• GDPT Lieu Quan – Vietnamese cultural dance
