Description
Celebrate the winter solstice at The Museum of Flight with cozy activities, crafting, and cocoa.
Enjoy a special visit from astronaut Karen Nyberg as she launches her new picture book, A Quilt of Stars: Astronaut Karen Nyberg Stitches a Dream. Karen will share her journey from a child imagining the stars to living and working aboard the International Space Station. Young explorers will create and decorate their own stars with a wish or goal for the future. Book signing and meet-and-greet with Karen to follow.
Look for surprise visits from our furry friend, Soley the Sasquatch, throughout the exhibits!
