State Parks Free on Veterans Day

All State Parks are free on Veterans Day on Nov. 11- that is, they do not require a Discover Pass or parking fee to park your car.

Don't forget about the state park closest to Seattle at the north end of Lake Washington. - St. Edwards State Park is a grand outing when Washington State Parks are free on this day:  The 326-acre park has 3,000 feet of Lake Washington shoreline, ballfields, great picnic spots and miles of trails, popular for both hiking and mountain biking. Please note, free days apply only to day use (not overnight stays or rented facilities), A Discover Pass will still be required on these days to access lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (unless they say otherwise).
