Teen Improv Comedy Class at Ravenna-Eckstein CC

Description

Survive "The Big, Wet, Dark": After-School Teen Improv at Ravenna-Eckstein CC!

As the afternoon daylight fades and "the big, wet, dark" sets in, get your student off their screens and into a high-energy, face-to-face social outlet right next door to school!

Starting Wednesday, November 18th, Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center is hosting a 4-week Teen Improv Class on Wednesdays from 4:15 PM – 5:15 PM (no class Nov 25 for Thanksgiving week).

Improv is the ultimate tool for teens. While playing hilarious comedy games with neighborhood friends, they will be:

• Trading Screen Time for Real Fun: Swapping devices for face-to-face laughter.

• Relieving School Stress: Shaking off class pressure in a zero-judgment zone with no grades and no scripts.

• Building Social Confidence: Learning public speaking and quick-thinking skills.

Absolutely no theater or comedy experience is required—it is perfect for class clowns, quiet kids, and absolute beginners.

• Dates: Nov 18 – Dec 16 (4 weeks)

• Cost: $154

• Size: Strictly capped at 15 students to ensure plenty of stage time!

How to Sign Up: Register securely through the Seattle Parks portal using Class Code #93948 or call the Ravenna front desk directly at (206) 684-7534.
