Description
For over 30 years, Walk for Rice has brought people together to raise funds for the ACRS Food Bank and nutrition programs while raising awareness about food insecurity in Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander communities. The campaign kicks off in the spring and concludes with a multicultural community celebration and three-mile walk at Seward Park in June.
Join the effort to bring culturally familiar food to thousands of families in King County. Register as an individual fundraiser or join a team. Registration is free and provides access to a personalized fundraising page to share with friends, family and colleagues.
Parking is limited at the park, so public transportation, carpooling and ridesharing are strongly recommended.
Free parking will be available at the ACRS Main Building.
Free shuttles will depart from the ACRS Main Building to Seward Park and back the day of the event. Look for more details to follow.
Note: This is a free event, but they appreciate donations if you can.
