Get free museum admission on Saturday

Smithsonian magazine is celebrating the 10th annual Museum Day Live! on Saturday, Sept. 27. For one day only, participating museums across the United States will offer free admission.

More than 1,500 museums and cultural institutions nationwide will participate in the event, emulating the free admission policy of the Smithsonian Institution, by opening their doors free of charge to anyone who downloads a Museum Day Live! ticket at Smithsonian's website.

The ticket is good for one person and a guest, and only one per household. Here are some of the local museums that are participating:
