From October 16 to 17 and 23 to 24, Bastyr University is hosting a seriously spooky all-ages Halloween event at their Kenmore campus. Haunted Trails 2015 is a frightfest in the forest for little kids, older ones, and parents. Bonus: all ticket sales go to supporting Bastyr's international externship programs for students.

For kids over ten, Haunted Trails includes a tour through the Haunted Woods, where classical scenes from horror films are recreated on a winding path through the forest. There's also a Texas-style barbecue on Cemetery Hill, and a Circus of Horrors complete with creepy clowns. (Kids under ten are strongly discouraged from participating in the events meant for older kids, as they can be too frightening.)

For the ten-and-under set, there's slightly tamer (but still spooky) fun: kids can come to trick-or-treat in Bastyr's herb garden or participate in the Children's Carnival, a Halloween carnival with games and face painting.

Tickets are $20 per person at the door; between 7 and 9 pm on Friday nights, 8-12 year olds pay $10 with the purchase of a paid adult ticket. Buy a "fast pass" online for $25 and get reserved time slots for Haunted Trails events. Bring cash, as some mini-events won't accept credit cards. Parking is free.

October 16–17 and 23–24, 7 pm to 12 am. 14500 Juanita Drive NE, Kenmore, 98028
