Love Run at Les Gove Park

he Almost 5K Love Run & Walk is an in-person fun run, part of Auburn’s new Almost 5k, Always Fun Run Series. The Love Run & Walk is perfect for all ages and abilities. Join this fun event to kick off American Heart Month. This family-friendly run is an easy run around Les Gove Park. This fun run will utilize the big loop at Les Gove Park. Five loops around is “almost” a 5K (short of a 5K by 1,138 feet). Community vendors will be on site to share information on American Heart Month. Activities will keep the festivities going after you’ve completed your laps.
For the Love of Local at Infinity Farm Issaquah

For the Love of Local is a FREE public event that will include handmade vendors, food trucks, kids activities, and a chance to feed lambs, alpacas, and cows. Free entry and parking. Attendees are encouraged to wear boots and layers, as February can be unpredictable and the farm is an outdoor space. Covered eating areas and the event space will be available for folks to use as they eat lunch and recharge. Local Appreciation Day (Love Month Kickoff Event)

Celebrate Local Appreciation Day, the official kickoff to Local Love Month at Pike Place Market! This annual event is their way of thanking market supporters who shop at local businesses, enjoy local foods, and champion the community of small business owners, farmers, artisans, and performers all year long. Explore the Market, filled with live busker music, artist demonstrations, interactive pop-up murals, and the chance to play Market Bingo. Shoppers can also take advantage of an exclusive shopping offer: spend $50 or more to receive a Pike Place Market enamel pin and traveler mug, while supplies last. Throughout the Market, keep an eye out for their iconic red umbrellas—they signal live demonstrations and performances by local artists and entertainers. Each umbrella offers a unique mini-event
Market business, Art Stall Gallery—a women-run cooperative celebrating its 60th anniversary—will host live painting demonstrations in the Economy Atrium, offering a unique glimpse into their artistic process.

Father Daughter Valentines Dance – Marysville

Fathers and daughters of all ages can join for the annual Father-Daughter Valentine’s Dance, which takes place in the Cedarcrest Middle School cafeteria. Enjoy refreshments, music and receive a 5×7 photo to commemorate a memorable night of dancing with Dad. Participants can choose from four different dance options on two consecutive Saturdays. Each date will have a 5:30 pm and a 7:30 pm dance option. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited. This event tends to sell out quickly, so reserve your spot early.
Valentine’s Day Crafternoon at Issaquah Library

Bring your kids and family to the 6th Annual Alexander’s Hope Valentine’s Day Dash 5K Run/Walk and KIDS DASH on February 8th, 2025. Dogs & strollers are both welcome at the race. The race will begin at Bellevue Park and run along the streets of Bellevue. The Kids Dash starts at 8:45 am, a small loop around the venue for kids 5 and under. The Kids Dash is free, and you can sign up on their RunSignUp or on a sheet at packet pick up. Register here.
Pasados Safe Haven Sanctuary & Sweets

Pasado’s Safe Haven is having a Sanctuary & Sweets event on February 8, 2025. Come celebrate Valentine’s Day with the animals of Pasado’s Safe Haven while you indulge in cruelty-free sweets and treats! Their Sanctuary & Sweets event will be a special chance to witness love and compassion within the community and at the sanctuary. Sanctuary & Sweets will take place at the beautiful farmed animal sanctuary in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. During a 90 minute guided walking tour of the sanctuary, tour guides will introduce you to the loving animal residents of Pasado’s Safe Haven while you hear their inspiring stories of rescue and recovery. After your tour, you will receive a box full of vegan desserts baked by their Chef Amy Webster to sample or bring home to share
Valentine’s Day Princess Cookie Party

Join this special Valentine’s Day event full of fun and creativity with your little ones. This family event will have princess meet and greets where you will get to meet three princesses with photography provided, cookie decorating station (each child will receive two cookies to decorate with frosting and sprinkles), a Valentine’s Day card station, mini bouquet making station with fresh flowers and more! All the photos from the princess meet and greets and during the event will be free. Each child needs a ticket to attend, and it is recommended for ages 3+. Adults are free but spacing is limited. There will be 3 time slots including 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.
Little Crafternoon Valentine’s Day-Themed

Celebrate Valentine’s with your children and be ready to show off your dance moves at the Valentine Dance at the Issaquah Community Center on Feb 8. This is the perfect “date night” for you and your elementary school-aged child. You can dress casual or formal. The accompanying adult is welcome to bring more than one child for no extra cost (child MUST be elementary school age). If you have children in both age groups, choose either timeframe. Sweetheart Dinner Train Ride

Hop aboard the 2025 Sweetheart Dinner Train Ride in the Chehalis River Valley to celebrate your Valentine. This 2-hour excursion will be on a restored 1920’s dining car and transport back in time during this scenic dinner train. Enjoy a 3-course dinner prepared by the popular local caterer from Once Upon A Thyme. Reservations must be made 6 days before the departure date. Seating choices and tickets must be reserved online. PDZA Love at the Zoo

Show your love for the furry, feathered, and finned friends by joining the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium for Love at the Zoo! Bring Valentines and find hidden hearts throughout the weekend. At this family-friendly event, families can watch animals enjoy Valentine-themed enrichments like heart-shaped ice treats, bamboo hearts, whipped cream, watermelon, and more. There will be a scavenger hunt and walk the zoo to find the 12 big heart cutouts, each with a QR code unlocking a secret web page full of animal pictures, videos and fun facts. Kids can also send a special furry friend through the zoo-themed Valentine’s activity.
