Want to learn how to install your car seat for free? Safe Kids hosts more than 8,000 car seat inspection events across the country each year, when trained technicians teach parents how to make sure their child’s car seat is used and installed correctly. The Safe Kids Parent Car Seat Checklist is a handy resource, too.
As well, Seattle Children’s offers free car seats checks throughout the year, when child passenger safety experts check your child in a car seat, booster seat or seat belt and answer any questions you may have. New and expecting parents are welcome as well. The fall date is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the main campus located at 4800 Sand Point Way N.E. in Seattle.
