The voting has been tallied and the numbers crunched. The winner of You Choose the Next Newbery at KCLS is Turtle in Paradise by Jennifer L. Holm!
Just a few points behind as our honor books are One Crazy Summer by Rita Williams-Garcia and Woods Runner by Gary Paulsen.

On Monday, January 10th the American Library Association announced the official Newbery medal winner as Moon Over Manifest by Clare Vanderpool.
Turtle in Paradise and One Crazy Summer were both named honor books and will bear the silver Newbery medal on their covers.
