Ten Shaolin Kung Fu masters are donating proceeds from a special performance to Seattle Children’s Hospital and Kin On Health Care Center. The masters are in town to celebrate the grand opening of Seattle Shaolin Kung Fu Academy, the first kung fu school owned by a Shaolin monk in Washington State.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see ten Shaolin master monks performing on stage together. Join in for a night of good food and a breathtaking kung fu performance – all for a good cause.
The event will be held Sunday, May 19 at 6 p.m. at the House of Hong restaurant. Tickets are $30 per person and include a full meal (vegetarian options available). Space is limited, so reserve your seats in advance. Please call 206-341-9914 for reservations.
Seattle Shaolin Kung Fu Academy is hosting this special event along with the International Lion Dance Team, Best in Class Education Center and House of Hong Restaurant.
Along with the benefit, there is a free grand opening celebration and sneak peek performance for the public at the new Shaolin Kung Fu Academy (13241 N.E. 20th St. in Bellevue). Master Zhou opened the Seattle Shaolin Kung fu Academy two years ago, but recently moved into this larger facility in Bellevue. This event will be held on Sunday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features Dragon and Lion dances, traditional Shaolin kung fu fist forms, animal forms and weapon forms.
More information about both of these events can be found online.
