To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the Overlake Service League recently announced that it is changing its name to Bellevue LifeSpring.
One hundred years ago a group of women living in Bellevue’s earliest neighborhoods gathered to organize the first service group to help Bellevue neighbors in need. Today, the organization administers five youth and three education programs, and a range of emergency assistance to help struggling families with rent, utilities, food, clothing, daycare, car repair and more.
