Parents are invited to join the League of Education Voters board and staff to learn about the organization’s advocacy efforts, electoral work and political action to help create an excellent public education for every child in Washington.
This event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the League of Education Voters office, located at 2734 Westlake Ave. N. in Seattle. (Please note: this meeting was originally scheduled on Sept 26.)
At the event, you’ll have a chance to meet fellow education advocates and support the League of Education Voters with their work to fund early learning education and full-day kindergarten, transform school discipline, close the opportunity and achievement gaps, and fund higher education.
This event is free to attend and refreshments will be provided. Donations of any amount are appreciated. Come learn how you can get involved in improving education in your community.
