Cindy Dupuy, Ph.D., a local learning specialist and diagnostician, will discuss the latest technology available for students with dyslexia on Thursday, Feb. 17, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Hamlin Robinson School (1700 E. Union St. in Seattle). She will help parents and educators define the differences between a tool and a toy and offer guidelines for matching students to appropriate technology tools.

This event is part of the 2011 lecture series for families and educators put on by the Washington branch of the International Dyslexia Association. A $10 donation is requested at the door and clock hours are available. To learn more, visit www.wabida.org.
