Verity Credit Union’s “Cartwheel for a Cause” Contest Earns Money for Local Charities

Verity Credit Union recently announced its “Cartwheel for a Cause” contest, where local parents can enter to win $5,000 for their cause with just a cartwheel and a YouTube video. Entries may be submitted at www.veritymom.com until Monday, Feb. 21.

Cartwheel for a Cause encourages people in Washington state to create a 60-second video about a cause that is important to them. The video should include information about the cause, and a creative cartwheel or two (technique doesn’t matter), then the public will vote for their favorite submission.

Public voting will take place between Feb. 23 and March 2. The entry with the most votes receives $5,000 for the cause in the video and $1,000 for the person with the idea. Second and third prizes are $1,000 for the charity and $200 for the creator. Complete contest details can be found at www.veritymom.com.
