The Eastside CHADD group (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is hosting a meeting for parents and teens on Tuesday, June 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Evergreen Healthcare, located at 12040 N.E. 128th St. in Kirkland.
Barbara Bennett, M.A., an educational therapist and consultant, will show the engaging, thought-provoking video that was presented at the 2012 CHADD National Conference. In the video, teens with ADHD and their teachers demonstrate what does and doesn’t work for school success. Then Bennett will offer an update on the latest ADHD research featured at CHADD’s conference.
