The award-winning 2016 film, "SCREENAGERS: Growing up in the Digital Age," elevated the conversation around kids and screen time.

The conversation continues with "Screenagers NEXT CHAPTER: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience" in which filmmaker and physician Dr. Delaney Ruston works through helping her own teens as they struggle with their emotional well-being in a screen-filled society. The new film examines the science behind teens' emotional challenges, the interplay of social media, and most importantly, what can be done in our schools and homes to help them build crucial skills to navigate stress, anxiety and depression in our digital age.

Watch a special Seattle showing of the film at 6:30 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 6) at Concordia Lutheran, 7040 36th Ave. N.E. (More on the event here.)
