Stand Up for Children at Statewide Town Hall Meetings on Saturday

Legislators are working right now on the state budget for the next two years. Budget decisions should create opportunity, equity and prosperity for Washington’s families. But damaging budget decisions are already hurting families and kids every day.

Legislators across the state are taking a break from session to hold town hall meetings in their home districts on Saturday, March 12. This is a rare chance to talk face-to-face with your legislators while they are working on critical legislation that will impact the future of our communities. Visit this link to see if your district has a meeting.

The budget still includes millions in unfair tax breaks that don’t benefit the public. It’s time for our legislators to stand strong, close tax loopholes that don’t serve the public interest, and protect Washington state’s children and families. Let’s make sure legislators in every corner of the state hear this message on Saturday.

Submit an RSVP the the Children’s Alliance and you will receive an email with details including resources you can use. To learn more, visit https://action.voices.org/site/PageNavigator/town_halls.html.
